I spent lovely, peaceful days at Malhão Pardo. We were made to feel very welcome and were treated very well. Communication with Paula and her colleagues was excellent. The property is very well located for those who want tranquility. Nevertheless, it is close to the main beaches of the Costa Vicentina and Odemira, where you can shop at the supermarket, etc. The house itself is comfortable, very well equipped, and you can see the attention to every detail. We spent our days barbecuing, enjoying the pool, and visiting the nearby beaches, wineries and cities. It's the kind of place you leave already thinking about when you'll come back.

In the southwest of the Alentejo, where cork-oak country meets the wild Atlantic coast, low white villas under terracotta roofs are set out like a small hamlet across seven hectares, so every terrace keeps its view. Watch the light change over the fields, walk down to the valley, and end the day under a wide, starry sky.

Choose your dates and your villa and send the request. Nothing is charged. We check the villa and reply personally within 24 hours with the confirmation and how to pay.

We tell you within 24 hours and suggest the closest free dates or another villa that fits your group.
When do I pay? +
Only after we confirm your villa and you say yes. Sending a request costs nothing and commits you to nothing.
When is the best time to come? +
Every season argues its case. Spring for wildflowers, summer for long pool days and warm nights, autumn for the light, winter for crisp walks, near-total silence and the lowest prices. The estate is open all year.
What does a stay cost? +
From €200 a night (Forest Edge, November to March) to €470 (the three-bedroom villas in August), per villa. Choose your dates in the booking calendar to see the exact total.

What is shared with other guests? +
Only the saltwater pool, the tennis court and the garden areas around them. Your villa, terrace, private garden and parking are yours alone for the stay.
How far are the beach and the shops? +
The supermarket is 5 minutes by car, Odemira 15, and the Costa Vicentina beaches about 20. Close enough for a swim before lunch; far enough for real quiet at night.
Can we bring our dog? +
We love dogs, which is exactly why the answer is no. Lucky, our friendly resident dog, already calls the estate home, and the gardens and pool are shared with families and children. Keeping her the only dog on the land keeps it calm, safe and clean for everyone. She'll happily keep you company instead.
Is it good for children? +
Made for them. Private gardens, open land to run around, a pool and a tennis court, and villas where everyone has a real bed. Sunset Corner sleeps six, so the grandparents can come too.
